The Floyd R. Douthit Memorial Park on the grounds of the Alcouffe Community Center in Oregon House
had its official opening ceremony May 21. It was a GREAT celebration.
So, now it's time to come and enjoy this beautiful new facility which includes the baseball field,
tot lot, picnic area with bar-b-ques and tables, and a large groomed play area for children.
The newly completed baseball field on the grounds of the Alcouffe Community Center in Oregon House is
located at 9185 Marysville Road.
As a County park funded by with State Prop 40 funds, the Park is available for use daily, without charge,
on a first come first served basis from sunup to sunset.

Please help keep the new park clean and enjoyable for all. With no County funding for upkeep and operations,
the Alcouffe Center operates and maintains the Park through the efforts of volunteers.
Yes, Little League games will be played this season at the Alcouffe Center's Douthit Field and at Brownsville as well as the NYLL home field (Sperbeck Park) in Browns Valley. This is an exciting event for our community! The game schedule will be announced here as soon as known. All levels will play some games at Douthit field including majors, minors, and tee-ball. Little League games are great entertainment for the whole family. Along with food concessions, adjoining picnic area, play structures and large groomed grassy play area, our new outdoor facilities offer a wonderful family outing on fine Spring or Summer afternoons and evenings. There is no cost to attend games or for any other use of the Park facilities and very reasonable cost food/snacks will be available.
