Our Alcouffe Community Center was built by local volunteers and it relies on volunteers for its day-to-day operations and fundraising. Volunteering is part of the rural tradition. Rural communities like ours just don't work without volunteers.
Every skill level from grant writing, bookkeeping, computer and carpentry skills, food preparation and serving, to painting event signs, fundraising, construction, landscaping, sweeping floors and much more is needed.
If you've had thoughts about volunteering - as a way of meeting your neighbors, helping out, and participating in fun events, contact us as soon as possible; we will be delighted!
