Highlight of Memorial Day weekend is the return of the popular Sock Hop and North Yuba Classic Car Show
starting at 10:00 am Saturday. The Car Show is FREE for spectators and $15 for registrants, which includes
one ticket (and meal) to the Sock Hop which starts at 6:00 pm. Sock Hop with a fabulous live band is $10
and $5 for children under ten. Malts & Shakes $2. Yum!

The annual Wine Tasting fundraiser, hosted by Lucero Vineyard & Winery, is always a highlight
of the summer season for local wine and food lovers, as well as by many visitors.

We will again host a FREE July 4th Community Celebration of our Country´s birthday with food (burgers, dogs, etc.),
bounce house and kids´ games and activities, fireworks display and sparklers for the kids, patriotic music, etc.

Community Auction

Stuff you just couldn´t bear to toss at the spring clean-up you can sell, or find those items you´ve
been looking for at our annual Community Auction! Used equipment, tools, household and miscellaneous
items of all kinds. Consignment on Friday July 26; auction previews Friday evening and Saturday morning
until bidding starts at 10:00 am. Check the website for full details and forms. Food concessions on
site all day. This is a community service auction; a portion of the proceeds help support operations
of the Alcouffe Center and Floyd R. Douthit Memorial Park.

Mexican Dinner
& Live Auction

Our annual Mexican Dinner and Live Auction, a very popular annual fundraiser, is set for Saturday,
August 24. Auction preview and no-host bar begin at 5:30 pm. Donations of auction items from businesses
and residents will include gift baskets, gift certificates, antiques, and arts and crafts,
and are appreciated to raise funds for the community center. Do you have a donation to contribute?

North Yuba Harvest Festival

The 8th Annual North Yuba Harvest Festival will be a two-day event again this year!
Set for September 28 and 29, this is the premium food, wine and olive oil festival
for the North Yuba area. More than 50 vendors will be on hand for this family friendly event,
with bounce house and lots of other children´s activities, live music and entertainment.
FREE with suggested $5 parking donation.
