The 1945 Ford 2N two-tone pink vintage tractor has proven to be a huge hit.

After debuting at last year´s Vintage Tractor Days, the one-of-a-kind machine appeared at numerous events throughout the following year, including parades, car swaps, tractor shows, fairs, and farm shows. Everywhere it went, the feisty little vehicle attracted enthusiastic fans.

The tractor has outdone itself in raising several thousand dollars in raffle tickets. Tickets will continue to be sold until the final drawing on May 5 at the 2012 Vintage Tractor Days, so don´t miss out!

Many community volunteers and tractor hobbyists contributed to the restoration of the vintage machine, which was donated by the local Forguson family.

Some contributing individuals and businesses include Martin Auto Color Services, Les Schwab Tire Center, Valley Truck and Tractor, and Post Net of Yuba City, Jody Stover of Placer Tractor Supply in Grass Valley, Rick Lopez of Loomis, Rick Snow of Hood, Superior Radiator of Marysville, Ben Goff and Josh Truchak of Oregon House, and Rick Baucum of Penn Valley.

The 8th Annual Vintage Tractor Days will take place Saturday, May 5 and Sunday, May 6 at Eventful Acres, 9454 Yuba Ranch Way in Oregon House. This is biggest vintage farming event in northern California with a record 200 tractors expected to participate this year. The two-day celebration is a major fundraiser for the Alcouffe Community Center .

The show is very popular with families as well as tractor hobbyists–because it offers all kinds of entertainment: hayrides, tractor parades, tractor competitions, kids´ games, food, specialty vendors, and music. If you are looking for a fun-filled, educational, inexpensive Vintage Farming event for your family, this is it!

A big highlight of this year´s event will be the final drawing of the winning raffle ticket for the now famous Pink Tractor, a 1945 Ford 2N tractor with a two-tone pink finish which was restored as a fundraiser to benefit both the Community Center and the American Cancer Society.

The American Cancer Society will be on hand to accept a check for 50% of the raffle proceeds, and we also anticipate having a local radio station broadcasting live. The raffle drawing is scheduled for 4:00 pm on Saturday, May 5.

Exhibitor registration is $15 until the April 20 deadline when it goes up to $25. Vendor fee is $50.
